SIMPLIFY the complex.  Enjoy!

About Wamovations

Welcome to Wamovations!  Running solo and part-time, this is my personal workshop for innovation, driven by a simple goal: to SIMPLIFY the complex.  My focus is on using the latest technology to turn clever ideas into practical, easy-to-use solutions for common problems.

I'm also putting together a modest collection of T-shirts with designs I like.  Making the designs is a fun and creative outlet while the bigger ideas simmer.

Stay tuned for what's coming next and join me on this journey of creativity and simplicity.

HelpBot

A tribute to my first aid training and my desire to use AI to produce something helpful, HelpBot was initially developed as a specialized First Aid assistant, utilizing OpenAI's GPT-3.5 model alongside a PDF of the American Red Cross First Aid manual. With the release of newer OpenAI models offering enhanced capabilities, such as real-time internet access and improved prompting, the original approach was generalized and streamlined to align with the updated API. HelpBot was recently migrated from Windows to Linux/Docker, allowing deployment on a Lightsail container for cost efficiency and easier maintenance. It has also been updated to use OpenAI's GPT-4.0 model and now includes additional roles to choose from.

RemoteIgnition
 IN PROTOTYPE DEVELOPMENT

Introducing RemoteIgnition:

Fueled by the desire to make mornings warmer and more convenient, RemoteIgnition is a handy portable remote key actuator system designed to bring seamless remote ignition to 'legacy'  keyed ignitions, like that on my Honda Civic, with a list to more models to be tested.

This innovative system features a steering wheel-mounted box with a versatile flexible arm, enabling the actuator to efficiently access and operate a wide range of ignition points.  The actuator consists of an adjustable robotic gripper, rotated into position by a precision servo motor. Command and connectivity are  managed by an ESP32 Microcontroller. Powering this ensemble is an Anker rechargeable battery.

Rooted in the principle of 'Simplify,' RemoteIgnition features straightforward design, reusability, and minimal alterations to existing systems.
